DEFENDING THE FLOCK

 Defending the Flock is designed to train church safety team members to respond in a coordinated manner to an active threat in their house of worship. 

Strong emphasis will be placed on safe weapons handling procedures; particularly in relation to muzzle discipline while  maneuvering in populated surroundings. 

Students will be instructed in shooting tactics, movement, areas of responsibility, and fields of fire. 

The class will involve shooting drills on a standard range as well as live-fire response scenarios in a simulated church environment.
