Tactical Carbine is a class that is designed to impart a variety of skills that will increase the student’s overall proficiency. The course will first address safety, stance, posture, and grip and will progress into basic marksmanship. Also addressed will be weapon nomenclature, loading/unloading, and malfunctions. Once basic proficiency with the weapon is established, Tactical Carbine will then cover a shooting from a number of positions, including firing from behind cover, barricade, and barriers.
“The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles.”
